What is gLOBE cATERER’S royal meal service

I started Royal Meal to supply gourmet, professionally cooked, meals for you to enjoy at home. Each dish is specially selected with a new menu presented here every week. My service extends across South Birmingham, full list of locations below, and we will deliver your order to your home.

We also cater for special requests off our full catalogue menu. These requests can only be ordered in bulk, at a minimum of 6 portions per order. We will deliver these outside of our core delivery area, please enquire for details. Payment will be organised on an ad hoc basis.

We will also soon be launching a deli service, offering speciality British meats, cheeses and other speciality products


How The service works

On Monday & Wednesday, we prepare our dishes for the week, then on Tuesday & Thursday it’s the time we cook. Each week, there’s a new menu, with a new gastronomic experience. We will personally deliver to your door twice a week on Wednesday & Friday between 4pm and 9pm.

Why I started Royal Meal

It has been too long since I ran my Delicatessen and the Scarlet Pimpernel service.

Since my time at Cheval Blanc, I have been working freelance, aiming to meet other chefs, and suppliers, with the same passion for the food I have, with whom I can share skills and ideas.

Through this work I have found an opportunity to build relationships with suppliers I feel I can work with, and that I respect. Letting me source ingredients from local, quality, suppliers, with a focus on British meat and produce. While our bread and pastries are from my favourite baker, Maison Mayci.

And now, in the current situation we find ourselves in, I finally have the time to focus on a project I have been desperate to get back to. Personal cooking, delivered to your home.

And that is why I set up this website, and this service. To provide you with my cooking, in your home. 

Everything is cooked from scratch in my kitchen, and without the use of additives and other nasties. I make all stocks and sauces myself, and I avoid, or reduce where it is impossible, the use of additives as much as possible (Salt and Sugar included!).

Allergens

We provide all Allergen information on the product pages on our website, while our catalogue menu has full allergen details of every dish we cook.

But, at checkout, please let us know about any food allergy or intolerance concerns.

Each Product containing Gluten, Fish, Crustacean, Molluscs or Nuts will be produced last on the day in that order.

As our kitchen is sanitised before and after production, we can prevent any cross contamination.

Good hygiene has always been essential in professional kitchens, and now it’s more important than ever. At Globe Caterer, our Royal Meal service is carried out to the highest standards of cleanliness from the moment we start prepping, to when we deliver it to your doorstep:

To ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues, on delivery we adhere to the following rules:

  • Packaging is thoroughly sanitised before delivery.

  • Our delivery driver will inform you of their arrival as normal, but your food will be placed on your doorstep, or the nearest equivalent for you to take inside.

  • We sanitise our hands after every delivery

Self isolation 

Everyone needs to eat. That’s why we still deliver to customers who are self isolating. However, we please ask that you notify us of your situation by leaving a clear message in your driver notes as you check out your order. For your own safety, and our driver’s.
